Hello! My work is nearly always hand drawn. I try not to use computers to edit my work because I feel it takes away the authenticity from my drawings. On the whole, my work is often a reflection upon my upbringing and how this has influenced my perceptions of our society and the way in which we live in it. I am interested in mark making and the deceptions of line it can give to my drawings, including the contrasts between thick and thin lines and the qualities these can produce in an illustration. Another element of my work is the use of pattern and the different ways in which it can be incorporated in my works to add depth and curiosity.
