Jacob Davies

Primarily interested in stories, I explore narrative using animation, installations and animation. I love making evocative imagery, playing with signs, archetypes and unconventional narrative structures. My work can be cryptic or simple, linear or open, but I’ll always attempt to engage my audience with a glimpse of somewhere else. I also have a keen interest in making work for music.

Projects I have worked on/am currently working on include:

- Oil Slick, a newspaper format collection of my strips
- Illustrations to accompany anecdotes from the career of a (non –fictitious) NYC illegal poker dealer
- A projection/set design/audio installation with AUCB fine artist Lizzie Latham.
