Most of my inspiration comes from looking at the human condition; more specifically, studying those habits and idiosyncrasies that made us all individual - and yet at the same time noting that these 'unique' quirks are probably shared by a lot of us. I like to invoke this sense of shared experience within my work; those moments of realisation when you discover someone else imagines they're in a music video when they listen to their ipod. At the moment I enjoy using fountain pens and ink, although I'm also experimenting with 3D. I mostly compose my images using traditional cut-and-paste methods; I prefer this handmade aesthetic (plus I'm just not that good on computers).
